Color Match of PVDF Coated Coil
1. For custom' color requests, we can deal as following:
Supply a physical sample of custom color. A color sample on metal
is preferred. If other, it is also acceptable. But the color
matching rate may be not good as color on metal.
New color sample is usually offered by our paint supplier in 5-7
days, special color should be in 7-10 days.
Upon receipt of color sample, please approve in writing as soon as
possible. Once you approved, we will arrange purchasing and
production
Coil coating is the continuous and highly automated industrial
process for efficiently coating coils of metal. Because the metal
is treated before it is cut and formed, the entire surface is
cleaned and treated, providing tightly-bonded finishes.
The production process of continuous coil coating starts with a
chemical treatment of the input strip, which removes anticorrosive
oils and dust impurities by multistep rinsing. A non-chromatic
passive layer, securing a good adhesion of the coating, is applied
to the cleaned surface. After the passive layer dries, a system of
cylinders applies polyester, polyurethane or PVDF coatings to the
strip. After the application of the coating, the strip is baked in
ovens at a temperature of up to 240 °C
Note:
Color difference maybe occurred in different production batch, so
it is suggested all panels are placed in one order for same
project. And keep same direction as arrow on protective film when
installing to avoid any color difference by vision.
Classification of Coated Aluminum Coil
As per types of surface coating of paint, color coated aluminum
coils can be divided into polyester (PE) coated aluminum coil,
fluorocarbon (PVDF) coating aluminum coil and Epoxy coated aluminum
coil.
